 Hanging out with my friend Sam Kulla earlier this month I ended up adding some doodles to a post card he was sending to his Aunt and Uncle. It doesn't say who it's from anywhere. Hopefully they found it perplexing and delightful.

I did a whole series of collaborative drawings with with my friends while I was in Seattle for the Short Run Comics Festival. This one was with Sean Christensen, Stefan Gruber, Andrice Arp, and Vida Rose. Everyone just starts something, then we pass them around until they feel done. It's a good time!

Missoula Made Fair!

Tomorrow (Sunday, December 8th) I'll be setting up a table at the Missoula Made Fair from 11am-6pm at the Adams Center. I'll have new woodcuts, comics, art zines, books, prints, and cards for sale. If you're somewhere nearby, come say hi, it should be an excellent event.  I'll be up in the balcony at table 126!

Brunswick art show

I have 6 pieces hanging at the Brunswick Gallery at 223 Railroad Street in Missoula, Montana. The Show opens December 6th from 5 to 8 pm. It's the same building that my studio's in, so if anyone's interested I can take them upstairs to see where I work.

Two Years!

Giant Robot. Post it note show!

I'm contributing to Giant Robot Gallery's annual post it note show. There's a huge list of amazing artists involved. It's always fun to be a part of this.

I've been working on a new series of stream of conscious drawings a few times a week, right before bed.  They're being serialized over at the Gridlords tumblr. A new one should be showing up there every Tuesday. If you don't know about Gridlords, they're a comics, art theatre, and animation venue in Portland, Oregon. It really has to be seen to be believed. They've also just begun to publish anthologies. Check out their site for interesting interviews, essays, and all things Gridlordian.

Astral Industries Presents!

This is a flyer I just drew for an event that Astral Industries is putting in London. If all goes well, I'll have illustrated their first vinyl release by the time this happens. I'm really excited about the music and direction of this new record label. In 2014 it should be going full force!

French Capacity

There's been some really great reviews of the French translation of Capacity. You can read one HERE where they compare me to one of my favorite obsessive artists, Madge Gill. Putting these reviews through Google Translate always makes for a strange and sometimes confusing reading experience, but I've been really getting the sense that the French reviewers understand this book on a whole new level. It feels pretty nice.

Witch King

I was commissioned to make a portrait of a Witch King by Matt Kish as part of a collection of art inspired by his childhood obsession with The Witch King Of Angmar from The Lord Of The Rings. It was fun doing my own interpretation and I think it's a really great way to collect art. I hope there'll be a book, or at the very least, an art show of these someday. You can see the whole collection here! And it's still growing.

Tomorrow night in Missoula, Montana is the Festival of the Dead group show at the ZACC. This is a section of the piece I made for it. It's one of the biggest and most detailed woodcuts I've made so far. I'll post the rest of it soon.

Nostalgia show at Pony Club Gallery

This piece will be hanging at Pony Club Gallery all month as part of a Nostalgia themed group show curated by Keith Carter. The show looks great and has contributions by some of my favorite artists.
